Taking the work of press photographers from the confines of the printed page, and out into the public arena is very important to us. Our purpose built exhibition of the inaugural edit was a spectacular success at the National Theatre in 2006 with over 150,000 visitors over the 6 week run.
Last year's exhibition was extended by poplar demand, and ran for 11 weeks, with a potential audience of 275,000.
The vast expanse of the Lyttelton Theatre foyer will, for the third year running, provide the setting for the exhibition of the complete edit of the photographs from The Press Photographer's Year 2008.
The custom designed exhibition will open on Saturday 5th July and run for 8 weeks until Saturday 30th August.
(Open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 11pm) Admission FREE.
